Unicorn hunters (heterosexual couples seeking to add a bisexual woman to their relationship) get a bad rap in the polyamorous community. But is it possible to defy this stereotype and add a third to your relationship in a way that's ethical, kind, and groovy for all parties involved? In this special live show recorded in Los Angeles, the Multiamory crew discusses the ins and outs of making sure that your unicorn is ethically raised and sourced.

The Multiamory West Coast tour brought the crew to Seattle on February 14th. On this very traditional romantic holiday, we spent some time discussing how people in non-traditional relationships can use this as a time to reflect on the unique qualities each relationship and each partner brings to the table. We also discuss the slightly creepy origins of Valentine's Day itself.

Everyone worries about the potential of jealousy in non-monogamous relationships. We at Multiamory spend a lot of our time dissecting jealousy and strategizing how to manage and transform it. But we have yet to ask the question: are there ever times when jealousy is a good thing?

We examine some of the most common ways that we justify our jealous feelings, playing them off as protectiveness, discernment, or even as a sign of the depth of our love for someone else. In this episode, we dig in to what the true positive sides of jealousy may be, and how to harness them for your own personal growth.

For those of you with your heads in the gutter, this episode of the Multiamory podcast is not about masturbation, but rather how to maintain a healthy polyamorous relationship with yourself.  We welcome back our good friends Brooke and Johnny to help explore how to take care of yourself while juggling the day to day challenges of maintaining multiple relationships.  During this episode the four of us explore such topics as:

- Scheduling "dates" with yourself.
- Taking the energy and time to do kind things for yourself that you are used to doing for your partners.
- Knowing and acknowledging your own boundaries and ideals about the relationships in which you are partaking.
- Understanting your own polyamorous philosophies.

We also talk about how to wrangle every woman's dream: a man who doesn't watch porn, look at other women, drink alcohol or play video games (yeah right) and constantly reference the current game none of us can seem to stop playing: Fallout 4.

The partners of your partner, the lovers of your lover, the boyfriend of your girlfriend. The other partner that your partner chooses is known as your "metamour". You didn't get to pick him or her, but keeping up a healthy connection with your metamours is crucial for maintaining harmony and happiness in your poly constellation.  In this episode, we explore the dos and don't of interacting with metamours, what information should be communicated between your partners, as well as what kind of rights your secondary partners might be entitled to.

We also discuss the importance of exposure to different ideas and belief systems, including those that do not accept polyamory.

If you're interested in reading Dewayne Lehman's chapter on metamours, you can find it on his website:www.DewayneLehman.com.
